I have a 91 F150 reg. cab. Where is the best place to bring the power wire through the firewall at?
thanks in advance
Well, it will be your personal choice, depending on where you mount your amp.
My amp was on the center of the floor, and I ran a 4 guage cable through the hole in the firewall on the drivers side. It was easy to get to, and I could slip it right under the carpet, and bring it out the back.

I have the same truck, there is a rubber grommit about 3" below where the wires for the computer come in. I ran my wire through there and then though do door channel.
thanks guys. I'm mounting the amp on the back wall (I've already cut/carpeted/mounted a piece of 1/2" plywood). Haven't had a chance to really look at the firewall. Mr. Malina, is that on the drivers side?
