Power Windows
The drivers side window has quit working on my 1999 F-350. Does anyone know what power window motors will swap out with the type of motor I have, or will it require a direct replacement motor from a 1999 F-350. I cannot find a 1999 F-350 of that year down here in L.A. (Lower Alabama)

I checked all that. With the door skin off I can pull the motor toward me a little bit and it will work. I was hoping the left rear and driver side motor world interchange, but the connectors were different. I didi not want to go cutting on the wires.
Would it be better for me to buy the whole regulator assembly or just try and find a replacement motor. Does anyone know how far back or how far forward I can go to get a replacement motor/regulator assembly for my model year F-350.

I had the same issue but with the passenger side.I hooked up a portable
battery jump box top the motor and it worked again,so it wasn't the motor.
I replaced the switch for $35 from Ford and that was it.I think the motor was
$120,drivers side switch will be more.good luck.
