Why couldnt it have been Bill Clinton that got shot.....thatd woulda been the highlight of the year.....I could just see it in the headlines " Democrat Bill Clinton Shot By a Republican"

but brassproguy07 he didn't have those guns you spoke of. bottom line is he had the 28ga. he was wrong for taking that shot. he needs an *** kicking. but not a non stop butt whoopin. cheney knows better but still frigged up

I just said itd be funny, and Lenny, i said he had the 28, but i also said that if heda had a 12 guage it would have been a much more serious issue. they were both at fault no one needs a butt whoopin, it was an accident an accidents happen. Obviously your not a hunter or not a shooter because youd know that these accidents happen on a regular basis, it was just coincidental that it involved one of our countries leaders.

I read where Bush got in trouble for shooting a ,"Kill Deer" I always said Kill Dee. He did it while dove hunting in Texas years back while running for govenor.
I will say, this is the first Time I would argue for George Bush, Hell I've shot two or three of them. You get in the frenzy of a big dove shoot, Doves and Kill Dees look almost identical.
I have heard several stories about people being peppered by bird shot. I've been peppered by about 70 yards with a 20 guage. Just left a rash.
I feel bad for the guy. From the article I read they said he knelt down to pick up a bird, cheny turned, following a quail, and shot right as the guy was standing up.
Anytime theres a hunting accident like this, I think the shooter, and person shot should be suspended for a year. You should always be aware where everyone is at when you are open range hunting of any kind.

i agree with lenny on that one, letd not turn this into a political discussion here, i started the thread to see how many people thought it was funny, not to argue about if he was working class, if im not mistaken he works doesnt he? I dont think he just sits there and does nothing, it is his job to be president, and he is still working class, so if your going to put him in a group dont use working class cuz anyone who works can be considered working class. And it was an accident, if a REGULAR person did it they would get the same fines, not any more.

Nah, I did not think it was funny. Though I can see a week of jokes and cartoons about it and renaming Texas GunPowder to Cheney Shotgun (both will make you hot in the face).

it will be relentless. Letterman, Leno, Stewart, david gregory on Imus. but it still was an accident. as i said earlier, if it were al gore, it would still be an accident(though i hate al gore). though he would be defending a "man load". bill clinton shoots a blue dress.

Theres where your wrong, ionno where yall are from, but i live in texas WHERE IT HAPPENED and hunting accidents happen a lot here, but even if you shot president bush, it wouldnt matter because its an accident, im sure if you killed someone then youd be dealing with investigations or sumthing but this is not the case, the victim failed to warn cheney where he was and cheney failed to use hunter safety and common seanse, but it was still an accident not a premeditated shooting so get over it and quit goin on about him being VP, it was an ACCIDENT and Thats it.....im sick of you stupid A** People who have no respect for political officials, it was a funny story, two old guys hunting one old guy shoots the other THATS IT.
