OK, I'm pretty sure that this is some kind of bait. I'll bite anyway. The 1996 ignition systems are fully electronic and do not use dwell andgels and point settings of any kind. AFAIK dwell and point became things of an era gone by in the late 70's or thereabouts when most car manufacturers went with electronic ignitions.
