will a distributer out of a 400m fit in a 460. i was also wondering if a oil pan and pick up would fit in the 460 too.

The dizzy is supposed to fit, but the pan and pickup are not even close. A pan from a 429 would fit the 460 however. DF

I don't think the distributer will work either. I was going to do that swap a few years back, but couldn't for some reason (escapes me now) 460 dist. might have been too long.

A 460 distributor is the same as a 400.

People who say it can't be done should not interrupt the person doing it.

I put My Distributor from My beaten down 400M into my 429CJ which is the same .
Answer : YES! No Problems.
