Tuners vs. Modules
I have a 2005 SD and I'm looking for more HP. I know that Tuners give the most options and flexibility, but I'm a little worried about flashing with all the recent dealer issues I've read here. What plug-in inline modules are out there that give good performace without sacrificing durability? Can a module be taken out without traces of ever being installed? What are the disadvantages of modules?

Look at the Xzillaraider by Quadzilla Performance. I have one in my 04 and it works very nice on the 60hp setting. I can remove the module and no one knows it was there since it works Post-PCM to the truck.
Biggest disadvantage is there is no tranny programming to adjust the shifting with the HP gains.

It it a big deal not to have the tranny adjustments that go along with the HP gains? How does your tranny respond on the road to the extra HP? And most important to me....towing? Thanks
