supercharged 6.9
Just got my April 2006 Peterson's 4wheel & Off-Road magazine and saw an interesting Ford in the reader's rides (pg 18). It is a really nice looking 86 F250 with a 6.9 from McArthur, CA. Under performance mods it says "6-72 blower (not a perfect fit, but finally worked with a lot of Mickey-Mousing)." You can see the blower sticking out of the hood...How cool is that!
Just thought some of you would find that interesting.

Wow, I can only imagine how much work that took to fit up. Wouldn't mind seeing a series of close-ups on the engine. I don't think I'd ever try adding a 6-72 instead of a turbo built for the 6.9. "A+" for individuality.

I remember a few years back in a petersons I saw a 80-86 style with a big roots style blower out the hood atop a 6.9L. It was a 2-tone regular cab, long box with 35s. It looked mean...
