im looking at getting tsl/thornbirds 31x11-15's. i have the stock wheels on my 93 flareside and i dont know the width of the rim. im wondering if these tires will fit on the rim safely? i have 31x10.50-15 on it now but they are shot. thank you and this is my first post great site lots of info.
THORNBIRDS are the devil! they are from hell! you will NOT be happy with them, in fact they will downright dissappoint you! they wear horribly, you can't balance them, they are HORRIBLE off the pavement... actually they are horrible on the pavement too!
but in answer to your querstion they will fit just fine... and i would say you need to watch your tire pressure but they will wear out quickly anyway so it wont matter!
thanks for the replies. what are your opinions on the tsl/radials? will 32x10.50-15 fit under my truck. i have heavy duty coil springs which gave me about an inch more up front. my other choices on tires are the SSR radials and the Micket T baja radials. opinions on these are appreciated. what do you guys run???
the mickeys will last a long time (from what i hear) but they downright suck off pavement. the TSL SSR's are awesome, they will last a long time yet still pull hard
the ground hawgs will last longer than any other tire out there and if you have the azz to push and spin'em and clean'em they are a very impressive mud tire
The mickeys arent bad off road just in mud. thick skanky mud. Good in sand and loose dirty and those mothers will move. they wear good and such look good to. but if you want tires IROKs or Ground Hawgs will make you happy.
im just looking for a aggresive tire that will last long. i think im going to go with the ssr but will the tsl radial 32X9.50's fit under my truck??? how r they??it is leveled out up front.
My personal opinion is to put on the TSL good road wear...low noise and increadable off-road ability, and maybe put a little bigger of a lift (3 inch body maybe?) and go up to the 32x10.50R15LT GREAT TIRE
