What would make a good safe solvent take recirculating pump? I have the tank and sump but no pump, gave to me and I don't know the brand. is there a possibility or do I have to buy a new complete tank and pump. bjr23
I've seen solvent pumps in catalogs before but for the life of me I can't remember exactly where. I'll check out some places and let you know what I find.
"Little Giant" makes the pump you are looking for. You can find them in the Graingers or McMaster-Carr catalogs. I have one of their 300GPH partswasher pumps in the partswasher I built, and it has worked flawlessly for 7 years.

I haven't done it, but maybe an electric fuel pump would work? I don't know how much current a fuel pump uses though; powering it could be a problem, unless you have a shop battery (on a trickle or float charger) to wire it up to.
