axle codes
I bought a 97 F-350 Reg. cab 4x4 single rear, 4x4/auto about month ago. I was wondering if anyone knew the axle codes. The door jam says C5, I thought that met 4.11 but I am not sure. I was also wondering what programmers work the best. The truck already has a 3 inch down pipe on it and i cut the cat and muffler off and put a 4 inch piece in. I am a little nervous best I have never been around a automatic behind a PS. The truck has 125000 miles on it and clean as a whistle. I old man traded it in but I did not get to talk to him. Thanks for the help.

C5 should be a 4.10 limited slip, unless I am mistaken. my 96 is a manual with a 3" down pipe and staight 4" all the way back (no muffler or cat, sounds great!) with 234K on it so yours should last along time. hope I helped.
