What is the valve size for the stock 360 heads? I saw somewhere its 2.02 intake and 1.55 exhaust, but i was looking at ferrea valves for my heads and the have 2.09 intake valves and 1.655 exhaust for the FE series. They have 3/8 inch stems, is this the correct size? Does anyone know if these valves will work for my heads? Thank you.
2.02" / 1.55" is the correct size. 2.09" / 1.65" is CJ size. The can be installed in standard heads though. There's probably more to it; I haven't done that swap before.

it's a simple fit. take the valves and head to your favorite machine shop and they just pop in new seats and the valves drop right in!! i had them relieve the chamber wall next to the exhaust port to aid flow- they just used the intake seat grinding stone and it came out really nice!! a very noticeable difference in power when you get the big valves installed and port/polish the heads up nice and clean...
i have the 2.03 and 1.56 valves (measured them today), what does this tell me? who makes reman valves for this block? anyone know prices? what did it run u (price) for the 2.09/1.655 valves since im probably going to do this. thank you
I used to buy from DSC. I've found a new vendor www.survivalmotorsports.com who beats them in price and service. Barry R from the net54 forum started this company and can help you. He's a good guy and stocks everything you'll need.
i bought my intake valves at napa- i just replaced the stockers though and they were like 5 bucks a pop.. i got the exhausts from a local machine shop and only paid like 105 but i also got a full set of machined locks with them ....
