I just looked at a 91 f150 4x4 the motor is smoking my ?
is I have a 87 302 out of a merc. wagon with 39,000 mile
what is different from the truck motor to the car motor
what am I going to have to change to put the car motor in
the truck any help would be great

You will need to change all the external dress from the '91 to the '87. ie. the oil pump pickup tube(with the stud for the main cap support), the oil pan, valve covers, timing cover and water pump, intake manifold, and likely a few other items someone else will remember. You will basically be using only the long block portion of the '87 motor-block and rotating assembly, heads and valve train.
