Ok guys, I need your help on a few things. First of all I have NEW rotors and brake pads (by new i mean less then 6 months old) I changed them due too shaking while breaking and grinding well needless to say that didnt help the problem very much still does the same damn thing. No i did not replace the wheel bearings due to unavailibility. Where should I start looking now? Brake Clipers? Rear Drums? what?
if it did it again as soon as you put the new rotors on, i would check the front suspension components closely. tie rod ends, pitman arm, steering box, wheel bearings, shocks, and depending on the vehicle, radius arm bushings and spring mount bushings.
If it slowly came back after replacing the pads and rotors, you may have a sticky caliper that is causing a rotor to get too hot and warp. I replaced my rotors about 8 months ago because they were warped, and they mentioned that one of my calipers seemed sticky. I can start too feel a little vibe when I am breaking now.
