Guys, I get the ses light, and 3 codes get recorded each time, I've looked them up, and have an idea what they are, but why are they all popping at the same time? I get the p0478 code, the p1211, and the p1209 code. Ive got the edge attitude, and will get this if I run it over setting 1 (mileage). Anyone have an idea whats up? Are the two 12XX codes pointing twoards a icp sensor problem?
P1209 = ICP system fault
P1211 = If set during normal engine operation, indicates engine is operating in open loop control and injection control pressure is above or below desired pressure. If set during KOER test, indicates ICP system failed step test and could not maintain commanded pressure.
P0478 = EBP excessive during normal driving
I get these when for say im getting on the interstate, or just accelerating heavily. Ill usually see the ses light pop on at only 12lbs of boost......whats going on with this thing?

Get a boost pressure regulator for the MAP sensor. That will keep your light off.
Edit: Just realized what you said about the 12 LB of boost. Hmmmm.

P0478 could be a bad sensor. Get a code eliminator from here http://www.blackclouddieselperforman...roducts_id=108
P1209 and P1211 can be caused by many things. Is oil fresh, and new filter? Check fuel pressure. 20 psi min @ idle, 50-70 psi @ wot. Weak hpop due to miles and Edge requesting increased volumn. Program back to stock and see if you still get the code.
The oil is 1000 miles old. The hpop is new as of 9/2004 I discovered. Fresh fuel filter, afe intake and its clean. Im thinking that maybe the icp sensor is going in the tank? I will be checking the fuel pressure, I think I will be adding a gauge to the fuel filter bowl so I can see the psi just by popping the hood. Any other ideas?
stock program I dont know about. Tomorrow I will check that. I never run the thing stock, so thats a good test. I know no matter what setting on the attitude, other than stock, throws the ses light. Thanks for your help. I'll post tomorrow what I find out.
Well this morning, i couldnt get the ses light to come on no matter what i did. I didnt run the attitude at setting 5 though. Think my truck is a little tempermental today.
