My 97 F-150's Rhino Lining is fading out. Still tough as ever but not that Solid Black Look. Is there anything to bring back its look other than having it sprayed again? This lining is about 3 yrs. old.
I'm a LINE-X dealer. Good advice from PW01, but first clean the bedliner with water, automotive soap, and a stiff brush. Scrub the SNOT out of it. Let it dry, and then apply an "Armorall" type protectorant that does not contain any oils or silicone. We prefer Just Once (www.justonce.com). Rhino has a product you can use called Rhino Shine. But, it's thick and a PITA to put on.
PW01 mentioned the Meguiars products and I know many of my customers have had great success with the Meguiars Mirror Glaze professional #40 Vinyl/Rubber Cleaner/Protectant. It applies like Armour All but unlike AA it will penetrate and condition the liner as much as possible. AA type products tend to sit on top and stay wet, looking shiny but not doing much else.
Meguiars also makes Endurance in both a shiny and a natural finish that is desinged as a tire protectant that last for weeks. You wipe it on as a gel and let it dry.
Try #40 on your tires and watch it soak in to reverse Ozone attack damage and avoid cracking. Their newest products use Anti-Ozonates that don't turn brown as they age.
