I started out in the mobile audio business when I was 15 years old. I actually bought myself a Delta vertical panel saw and an auction and would rip out prefab enclosures for audio shops. Back then a prefab box for just two 12s would cost a dealer about a hundred bucks. I would rip out and sell them in groups of 10 for $75 apiece. My pops and I would load a trailer full and hit the local shops. Also took special orders as well. My father was a lead Electrician for the Air Force and my mother was a Production Manager for Harmon Industries, a safety equipment electronics company for the railroad. Kind of fell right into the electronics field.
In the years I have been a Circuit City Roadshop Manager for 3 1/2 years, Best Buy Manager, and worked for over half a dozen audio shops. Customer service has always been a #1 goal for me. Seems businesses have lost sight of that goal.
