Smogged

Does the 1-ton F350's have to be dyno'd? I took my truck to get smogged and they couldn't put it on the dyno because it has 38" Super Swaper TSL/Radials on it. Although I talked the guy I bought it off of and he said that it doesn't need to be put on the Dyno because it is a 1-ton. Is this true? Thanks.

What state? What year of truck?

Here in Utah, our F350 Dually gets dyno'd(Pre-OBDII), as well as my neighbor's motorhome.

Holy crap they dyno there? I hate it here cause they do the blow by or "sniffer" test.

"Back in the day" It was simply a static sniffer test.

Now it is at idle, and under load on the dyno at approx. 25 miles per hour.

What do they do about all wheel drive? Or is it a four drum dyno? cause if they dont have four drum cant you say your vehical was perm 4 wheel high?
