hesitates during acceleration
hey, my friends car is hesitating while accelerating... he thinks its a fuel filter problem or something, i dunno... its not a 70's truck but i dont know where to post it at!

hesitates during acceleration
hey, my friends car is hesitating while accelerating... he thinks its a fuel filter problem or something, i dunno... its not a 70's truck but i dont know where to post it at!
Not knowing what type of car....... It could be fuel filter, air filter, accelerator pump if carb equiped, timing, loose timing chain, and probably a few more I have missed

its a 94 chevy(arrghhhh) Z34 lumina.
i didnt want to say cause i figured theyd lock up the thread....

How many miles? I was told by a mechanic that the timing belts need to be replaced every 50,000 miles. Eric

I would take it to a mechanic and have them check a timing belt if they can. Eric
