I just pulled the stock CD-6 head unit out. There was a sticker on the back of the unit with part # 1L2F-18C815-BD. On the body of the unit it was stenciled YL2F-18C821-AC. There is also another number (which I presume is the serial number) stenciled on the body - 0924710GAGNC.
Which is of these is the correct part number and why are there 2 different part numbers on the same unit? (I know my head unit was swapped at the dealer before I bought the vehicle - I mention this just in case it makes things more clear) ??
I have an 02 explorer with the Audiophile head unit.
