Installing filter for painting
Can I install a filter on say the end of a 25' or 50' air hose, then run a hose from the filter to the paint gun? I don't want to install pipe, just thought maybe a hose would work. Thanks.

Assuming we're talking about a water filter, yes. Just make sure it stays right side up. Be sure you have a pressure gage at the gun though, because what you read at the compressor is not what you'll have at the gun. And be sure you check the pressure at the gun while spraying (air).
