Programming a key fob. And 4x4 question
I tried to google it but cant get the instructions. Everyone just once to sell the key fobs. I just bought a ranger and it came with the key fob guy said he bought it at auction and he thought the battery was dead. Checked the battery but its still good was hoping to try to re-program it. Also befor i bought the truck I took it to ford and paid $55 to check it over for me Bought the truck tonight and it will go into 4-high but not 4-low any sugestions? Thanks!

Have no idea about the hubs, but here is a thread on the fob. Some of them will work with other ford vehicles some won't. Also some years are different, it is the owners manual. If you don't have one you can download it from Ford. I don't have the link but someone will stop by with it.

Stoped by ford got it all worked out! To program a new key fob turn on and off key 9 times realy fast with your last turn ending with the key on. Waite for the doors to lock and un-lock hit any button on the fob then turn your key off. As for my 4-low (dont laugh its my first 4x4) Put truck in Neutral and apply brake then put in 4-low... LOL! I had it in park!
