Question Not sure what this is?

I just finished installing new headlamps ( with the the help of this forum's members) and while I had the front end apart I noticed a large plug in with a plug in it. It was located near what looks a larger heat sink approx 3"x5" large fins on it. The plugged plugin fit right into this after removing the plug from the plug in. Approx 7 or 8 wires running to it. Have not noticed anything different after plugging it in? any Ideas what this is?

Oops, reread and now I don't know what you're talking about.

Talking

You are right, it had a rubber plug in it to prevent dirt and water from clogging. So after you said that I noticed that the lights are on now anytime the key is on.

Thanks

the plug for the drl module is right behind the bumper on the drivers side up a few inches. get under you truck and look up under it to see where the plug goes into. most (99%) of the trucks out there dont have the module you gotta find one in a junkyard or buy one. but if you plug one in you will have DRL.

Thanks a bunch, found the plug but not the module. I'll check the junk yard and see what I can find. Thanks again!

A module from any Ford vehicle should work also.
