anyone who has a 2wd that is lifted and has 33's or 35's or something of that sort, please post pics and what suspension you have. preferably 80-96's (more so 87-91's), but any 2wd would be nice to see.
pics of my 67 are in my gallery, it has the twin i-beam suspension like some later ford models. It is not all done yet, I will be running 33-35" tires soon enough, locked rear axle, and soon I will post pics of my finished radius arm extension when I get the parts painted and put back on.
all you would need to find is the front axle, front driveshaft, t case, rear drive shaft. thats about it. i think i could do it for bout 100-150 bucks if i shopped around.
If you go this route and have a bit of a long vehicle (Supercab, or a longbox, etc) then you can get away with doing a divorced T-case which also has other benefits. Reg cab/shortbox or Bronco's you gotta pay for the married application. No getting around it there.

does the transfer case bolt up to my 2wd transmission?
If you would end up running a divorced t-case, no it doesn't bolt on to the trans. It is connected to the trans by the way of a short drive shaft. You would still be able to use the stock trans in your truck. In a married app. the t-case is bolted to the trans. What do you have for a truck, reg, ext , crew cab , long or short bed?
The driveshaft doesn't have to be long. It'd be nice if they wouldn't be stupid and use slipyoke's, instead have fixed yokes on everything and run slip shafts. Make my life easier, fo' sho'.
EDIT: STUPID THEORY PROPOSITION...
Would it be possible to run JUST a U-joint between the two yokes (slipyoke on transmission, and fixed input yoke of Divorced Case) if you were to bolt/weld together the two cases so that they were completely rigid and at 0* angle? How feasible would that be? As I said above..just a stupid thought that popped into my head as I hit "enter".

i've got a solid axle Dana 44 1/2 ton and a Dana 60 1 ton front for sale. also have 3 t-cases (np205's) i am trying to sell. all you need for a married app is the tranny-t-case adpater and some of the ones ford used were interchangable
it's actually pretty easy and the solid axle gives apprx 2" of lift
