Dana 50 Swap

Got a 86 F250HD, Will my dana 50 pitman arm bolt up to my dana 60 (it's from a 97 F350) or will I need a dana 60 pitman arm

I believe it will, but you will have to use that crummy inverted - Y steering setup. grab on from a F150, I am 90% sure they are the same as the 350. The 50s are different due to the funky leaf spring TTB.

Thanks I can find one from a 150 easier than a 350 around here it was hard enough to find a dana 60

Yes all the steering boxes are the same, 150-250-350. You're arm will fit. You have the F3504x4 drag-link and tie-rod as well as the track bar, right?

the axle has nothing to do with the pitman arm... 80-96 F150-F350 use the exact same steering box

'85 F150 Moog pittman arm - K8755
'85 F250 Moog pittman arm - K8755
'86 F350 Moog pittman arm - K8755

guess they are all the same fo-sho.
