vibrating at high speeds
My dad has an 86 f250 4x4 with a 7.3 diesel and zf 5 out of an 87. Any way, at highway speeds (65) the truck vibrates. I know that tire balance could cause this, but it doesn't do it all the time. Seems to do it more on bumpy roads or after a bump in a road. My mechanically inclined uncle had a look at the truck but couldn't find the problem.
What could be causing this?
Also his tires are wearing funny ont the side of vibration. Seems to vibrate on the front passanger side.
