Do you have your white letters on tires put on the outside for world to see or inside?
The newer the vehicle I always go inside... the older the vehicle I go outside. Does it really matter?
My rims are boring factory flat gray, so I always try to put the letters on the outside to take attention away from the rims (in hopes it will work). Getting a new set put on right now, the last set didnt have white letters.
Mine are on the outside but I'm thinking of putting the next set on the inside just so all the GMC and Chev owners can see them as I'm running them over.
Inside. When they're brand new, and the truck is nicely washed, I like the look of the white letters about as well as blackwalls. But, if one is clean and the other dirty, it really draws attention to the dirty one, and the white letters always end up scuffed and dirty looking.
Always blackwall out on trucks, usually on cars too, unless it's something like the Hoosier GTs I had on my old Mustang-
Mud tires always go blackwall out, just because a multi-colored beat truck with flat black or rusted white steelies doesn't look very good with white letter tires.
