Are you sure about that because i thought the e4od had the overdrive button on the end of the shifter. I was told that it was the aode and if that is right i wanted to know if a aod would work if i hooked up the kickdown cable

We have a 1990 Bronco with an E4OD and the O/D cancel button is on the dash. I think it changed at a certain point, but the first location was on the dash.

What motor do you have? Most of the time, the E4OD came behind the 300 and the 351, and the 302 got the AOD.

Or you can look on your driver's door sticker. E=E4OD
