Searching for the RAP Module...

With reading glasses and a flash light I have searched for the RAP Module on a 2005 F350 Lariat FX4 DRW CrewCab 6.0PSD. I am in search of the 5 digit factory entry code for my keyless door pad. Supposed to be a small white box under the dash with 5 black numbers....ok...I give up because my neck is starting to get stiff.....

I would appreciate any free advice.....I would take it to the Ford Dealer but I am sure that I still owe them money!!! *Grin*

Thanks in advance...

Are you the original owner, and did you look in the glove box?

I just purchased the truck and the 5 digit Factory code card was not in the glove box or console. I searched the manuals and have searched the internet trying to find out what the RAP module looks like and where I might locate it under the dash.

I have located a white box under the steering column but no black 5 digit numbers. I may try removing the box at a later time and check the top side.

I also suspect that the module might be behind the fuse box. I just have a difficult time getting down there for a very long time searching with reading glasses and a flash light. I was hoping for someone to point out the location of the RAP module. I have read about the module on other models but cannot find exact info on the 2005.

I bought a used '04 F250 and did not have the keyless entry code. I looked for the code on the box, just as your are doing, but I guess the code is not under the dash like earlier models. I ended up paying the dealer $80 to connect up to my truck their computer and get the code. I also had them enter a code I selected at the same time. Now I can unlock the truck with either code.

I just got my 05 PSD 250 in August and the number you are looking for was part of my paperwork I got from the dealer....I then put in a 2nd code I'd really remember, then put that paper in my safety box here in the house!

If you can't find it, go back to the dealer and request it....shouldn't be any charges involved in getting it.
