First let me give you a little back story. I am 25 year old navy recruiter, at the time i was 23, and was working on a ship. I started having alot of pain in my hip/groin area when i would walk, or just generally lift my left leg. I let it go for a while, it was tolerable. Finally it got to be a daily thing, so i went to see my doctor about it.(at this point i am recruiting, and it is all civilian docs). He says i have a hernia, effecting a nerve and that is the cause of the pain in my leg. I have surgery and have that hernia fixed. For the most part the pain is gone, it came back on occasion, but only briefly, and very light in pain. That was until a few weeks ago, the pain was back to where it had always been, so i am thinking reoccuring hernia. Go to see my doc again, he say no hernia, sends me a specialist. The specialist was the one that did the surgery, he agrees, no hernia. But has no idea what is causing my pain. He says give it 6 weeks, if it is still there, he will send me elsewhere. He thinks it is Nueroma. I did a search for this, and can only seem to find it effecting the feet. So, what do you guys think, should i wait it out, or seek other opinions?
Don't wait. It could be worse than a hernia and 6 weeks is a long time to put off treatment. Did they do another MRI, x-rays, or?? What makes them think it it's not a hernia?

No xrays or anything, just a quick turn and cough, and he felt around where the mesh is from the original hernia
