I am looking at a early 60's original low mile F-700 with a 302 HD. I have owned and driven the 292 and it was a good engine. I wanted to know if the 302 HD is as good or better.
What are the specs on the 302 HD, and is it a good engine with a lot of torque. I am wanting to put a dump bed on it and use it occasionally, not every day. Are parts a problem, more so than a regular Y block, and is there any weakness I should look for.
I may make the deal soon if I can get some good information.
Thanks
I searched all 39 pages of this forum and could find very little about this engine.
