What is a safe rpm range for my 67 f600 with a 330 hd? I tow about 14k with it. The engine is in good shape.

3800-4000. Does it/did it have a governor?

For those engines, just about as high as it can rev with your foot to the floor

No governor. There are several steep short hills on the route I take. You could get out and walk faster near the top of a couple. But, low side is in the 6's and high is in the 8's, has no trouble in high side 1st. I dread using it, but am having fun by the time I get back. I just don't want anything flying out of the old girl. Thanks
