HD Radio Help

I just bought a Kenwood KCD-HD455U which has HD radio. So I program everything and try to get a HD signal.... Nothing on FM or AM. Know I did look it up and several stations are transmitting on the digital signal and are not that far away from where I am. So why am I not hearing them? I can get the normal FM loud and clear.

Any one in CT have HD radio? If so are you able to pick up the HD signal?

Not sure if this is a factor in your situation or not, but the HD digital signal broadcast from each radio station is much weaker than their traditional analog signal. In many cases the radio will hear the analog broadcast fine, but not the HD digital signal. You may need to be closer to the stations tower to be able to get the HD signal to lock.
