428?

Casting numbers are: heads C8VE-E, 4 barrel intake C8SE 9425 B, Water pump 30747 A, Where is the block casting number? I pulled this motor myself out of a 67 t-bird,,tu all in advance DAHMER

all my searches show that to be a 429 engine block.

engine size IS 429, NOT 428

Gashog, u r right,,429 it is. There is enough egg on my face to feed an army,,,pls pass the crow now,,,I should have known better,,I have a 460 in my garage, o well, back to the drawing board,,,DAHMER

I'm surprised there was a 429 in a 67 T-Bird. I didn't think the 429 showed up until 69 or 70...

I was told it was a 428 in a 1967 t-bird,,it was a 429 in a 1968 t-bird,1st year I think. it has a c6 and 9 inch diff too. I wonder if the diff is a posi? LIVE AND LEARN dahmer

1968 was the first year of the 429 in the T-bird. There was also a 390 available that year in the birds.
