Hi,
Even though i dont have the money right now somewhere along the line i wanted to get headers. Heres the problem. My truck is a 79 F-150 4x4 so obviously the 390s not original in that truck. Are there any headers that stay very close to the block for the 390 thanks

Sanderson's are "shorty" type and should work.

Fear, you might also try a set of Stan's headers for a 75-76 F100 4WD with a 360. The front frame of those trucks is the same as your 79, and an FE was factory equipment then. DF
