I forgot you have a '56 so that area is probably a little harder to get to since it kind of juts out over the windshield. I wonder if there's as much sealer in there.
When you used the bug sprayer did you use Rust Doctor right out of the cantainer or did you thin it? I would like to spray the whole under and top side of my flat bed with it. I have used POR-15, and while I think it work great it's a real mess to deal with. It wears like iron on the rusted metal and also on your skin. I like the idea of the water clean up with Rust Doctor and according to their web site, you can top coat right over it, unlike POR-15 which you have to buy more of their products to bind top coat to it.
Does Rust Doctor turn hard and tough like POR-15? Has anyone else used Rust Doctor? I would like to hear more experiences with it.
