Fuel injection?

Has anyone on here swapped in a fulie or converted there engine to fuel injection? I know there are a few kits out there that are supposed to work pretty good. I havent really heard anything good about pro-jection setups. So if anyone has first hand experience please speak up and let us know what you did. Thanks

5.0 or 302 if you prefer EFI swaps have been done countless times. Do a search.
I did one myself years ago, not very difficult if you take neverything you need from a donor.
I had the choice to do it again and went with a carb instead. Personal preference. Do some home work and decide which suits you best as there are advantages to both set ups.

I would be more interested in converting a older 460 to injection. I would like to do a 302 seeing how I have a twin turbo setup for one sitting in the garage. But I cant figure a way to do it and still have power steering etc.

I would go with howell . Had a holley and a howell liked the howell better & if you needed a part to fix a problem on a trip any local parts would have the parts in stock (chebby T.B.) parts make up most of that system. sorry about the bad word.

Whats wrong with a carburetor? There's some advantages to EFI, but I work on cars for a living...and I'd rather have a carburetor.

Now a twin turbo on a 302 would be WILD.

i am in the middle of a 5.0 H.O. swap ........... nothing to it , i am haveing more trouble plumbing the fuel system than anything, will have to cobble/fab fule lines
feed and return

useing a msd fuel pump that fits my application perfectly
stock ecm,sensors,fuel rail,injectors,

the stock wireing harness can be used just fine but i have opted to use a painless wireing harness for the motor to save time, upgrade to the heavier duty wire and
cleaner install oh yeah they will make an extended length harness so i can mount the
ecm in a better place , includes fuel pump harness and relay

i knew it would be easier to just slap a cam and intake on this motor but every carb i have ever had new or used has started leaking, flooding, sticking ,need adjusting,
dont like the cold , and do not like steep angles ....

i figure the efi will make more torque , start easier in cold , wont mind steep angles
get better mileage!!!! better driveability, be different and wouldnt cost that much more than a new intake and carb ...

but w/ a carb you could still drive around and EMP wont tear up your ecm
ha ha ha.... which if iran keeps it up might be a good feature
