I'd go after it but I'm getting into the big brutes. More meat on a old 3/4 ton.

I considered placing a big diesel into one of my trucks, Cummins and 7.3 too expensive for me. I have had neighbors with 6.9 Fords ppowerful (When they start/keep running)
I though about a 6.2 but that a crime in a 1957 Ford.

6.2s are good motors for chevs. If you look around you can get a 7.3 in a vehicle with highermileage for not a bad price.

I guess I'll just stick with my old gas guzzlers for now. When I get some extra dough I may find another older truck to put a diesel and 4 by 4 in it. I still want atleast one original condition truck.

The older trucks with diesels in them I have always liked. I have seen a 79 ford with a 6.9 I believe put in it, and it was deadly! I also remember a neighbour of mine when I was young putting a cummings into a 86ish ford 150 4x4. That thing was neat!
