What year specifically? In the years I'm familiar w/ primarily 73-79 it's like this: 300 six in all years 302 in all years 460 in all years (I think) 360 and 390 in 73-76 351M and 400 in 77-79. I've been told that 4x4s' had 360s rather than 390s' in say 73-76 (not sure how early) because of warantee issues worrying about the torque of a 390 on the 4X4 drivetrain. 351w in Broncos and Vans as well as 302's and 300's I have some familiarity w/ 67-72 as I've have (and had) a 69 F100 and a 70 E100 there was a 240 six (same block as 300) in my van as well as 302's I believe the pickups had 240/300, 302, 352 until 360 came out and 390. The 429's and 460's came into existence in 68 but I'm not sure whether 429s' were in trucks and when 460's started. The 351M and 400 disappeared sometime in the early to mid 80s to be replaced by 351W. There also was a debored 302 called a 255 in the early 80's as well as 300's and 460s and at some point in the 80's a diesel. How am I doin?
