Back pressure good or bad?
I just got my 03 F350 back from the dealer, they fixed a blown intercooler. I had the Superchip module on tow safe +80 hp, AEM intake, 4" Stainless turbo back MBRP with the cat and muffler delete pipe, towing 10,000 lbs. My questions being, do you need back pressure from the catalytic converter to keep the boost pressure down so you will not have to get towed to the dealer every time you step on the accelerator pedal? Should I have a problem with the stock programming and over boost? I don't mind leaving it in the stock mode because the truck has plenty of power to pull any grade. I thought by installing the exhaust, cat and muffler delete pipes I would be helping the truck by increasing flow and lowering EGT's not hurting it. Any information will be greatly appreciated!! I do want this truck to last as long as I can make it. My wife isn't going to like it if we gotta dump another 40k.

I have an 04 350 with the 6.0 auto. I cut the cat and muffler at 4000 miles, run in "tow safe" mode, and pull 15000 lbs. After 50k miles pulling around US (including East Tn Smokies) I've NEVER had a problem due to the exhaust.
