Exhaust leak?

Im hearing what seems to be an exhaust leak, cant seem to find it though.
Is there a common place for the 7.3L to leak exhaust. i have tightened turbo, downpipe, merge pipe, and still here the noise.

any help,suggestions??
do the exhaust manifolds have gaskets between the head and manifold??

good info on Y pipe

I quote Chuck Arnold here:
"Another turbo related problem we are seeing often is Y-Pipe exhaust leaks. The turbo works because the exhaust from the engine is routed through two short pipes to the base of the turbo. Because it is configured in a shape similar to the letter "Y", this assembly is known as the Y-pipe. Energy from the hot expanding exhaust gas causes the exhaust impeller to spin, in turn spinning the compressor wheel and pumping a volume of pressurized fresh air into the engine. I believe that virtually every PowerStroke made, especially those used for hauling, will suffer leaks at the donut gaskets sealing these Y-pipes by 100,000 miles of service. We have seen some trucks leaking at 15,000 miles. The effect of these leaks is lowered performance, lowered fuel economy, increased exhaust temperatures and exhaust fumes under the hood. The donut gasket system used on these engines is poor and needs to be improved upon by the manufacturer. If you inspect the pipes which are removed to correct a failure you will see that the surface, where the donut gasket must compress and seal to the pipe, will be quite worn. We see the pipes actually able to rattle in some cases. Also the new replacement gaskets are often a very loose fit even on brand new pipes. "

Hope this helps.

I've heard that the fel pro's are better for sealing, but the issue seems to be gaulling (spelling?) of the ends of the pipes. Go to the auto parts store and get a set of doughnuts for a 1977 351 Windsor motor. I have a set sitting on the shelf waiting for the day to come for install. I will for sure be buying new pipes to put in if I do the job. More likely I will be putting a better turbo on at some point and all of it will get replaced.
