Talked to Bean's Diesel via e-mail about the Van Turbo they're selling...here's
the specifics:
$ 850.00 for them with the wicked wheel and exhaust flange adapter.
If u have an ATS housing you'll be doing pretty good here.
Also,
I just boxed up the only one I had and its on its way out. I have 3 more cores coming in next week so I will have some stock.
As far as data, it will flow technicly the same amount of air as a standard SD turbo, but it will decrease drive pressure, reduce egts's and do away with any surge/stall issues, all of wich will help make more hp.
Just thought i would pass this along for those interested.

wow, i didnt know that the van turbo drastically lowered EGT's, and got rid of surge/stall problem? or is that just the WW doing it's job. i REALLY want to hear a clip of a van turbo with a WW.
yeah...i can see it now...we'll all here this clip of the Van turbo and how"loud"
it is(quoting mech2161) and then we'll be lining up like salivating dogs with our $850 in hands! I'll take 3...with extra whistle please... I know JT will be there!Nut
my non-paying neighbor owes me $900 for lawn service this past summer.... thats a van turbo! im going to get my money!!!!
Reminds me of a line from Rodney Dangerfield in the greatest golf movie ever, Caddyshack... "Hey Moose, Rocko, help the judge find his checkbook will ya!"
Possibly. I do a lot of towing, so I'd like to either keep the stock EBPV, which I use as an exhaust brake, or find an exhaust brake that will work with the Van Turbo. I know Mech has somehow made his EBPV work with his van turbo, but I don't know how. I was looking at the QSSB, but I don't know if an exhaust brake can be used with it either. Plus the QSSB is $2700. $850 is a lot easier to swallow.
