Expedition airbags

I have a 2000 Eddie Bauer Expedition that the element for the drivers seat heater is out and want to know if anyone knows how to disable the side seat airbag prior to removing the seat. Also since it is controlled by an inertia switch how do you guarantee it won't set itself off when you reinstall it in the vehicle?

i didn't think there was a airbag in the seat. i only know of the side curtain and the steering wheel.

The 2000 Eddie Bauer came with seat airbags sometime after that they switched to the curtain airbags based on my specifrications. I also verified with web specifications.
