Those are the same wheels I have on Gracie. There is nothing "wrong" with them IMHO. As part of their styling they have a deeply recessed center compared to many aluminum wheels, so the tend to move the tire out to or slightly beyond the fender lip.
The good thing about them is they are relatively inexpensive being steel, and come in a wide range of widths and bolt patterns so someone like me who has a different bolt pattern front and rear can still have the same wheels all around.
It is kind of cool to hear everybody tell hime it is a nice truck since I sold it to him. I do agree with the wheels being backspaced wrong and I think it needs some smoothies. I hope you enjoy the truck!
P.S. Don't forget to send me pics of any progress!
It'll be a challenge, but it will get there. 53 crazy sold me the truck, but I doubt he would own up to building it. nuff said.
Everyone has their own tastes and budget. Mine must be a little different. But that's the fun of hot rodding (or cars in general) - you can build it and run it the way you like.
Many more changes to come, see y'all later!

Just to clarify things, I am not claiming to have built the truck. In fact there are several things I would have done different also. I just thought it was nice to see you getting compliments on the truck already.
