351M - 390 swap

The C-6 I have that was bolted to the 390 spent the last 6 years in the dirt without any protection. It has to be rebuilt and the C-6 in my truck now works great. I got the 390 and the C-6 for free so you cant beat that deal.

Yes, you can swap the 'guts' from one case to the other. You will have to take things apart anyway so the shorter output shaft can go in the C6 that is behind the 390. Your truck will be newer than you engine, but the 73-76 trucks, which came from the factory with a 360, are very similar and should have the parts you need, if any. DF
