Dana 70 diff cover bolt protrusion

Dana 70 diff cover bolt protrusion
I am going to pull the diff cover on my recently acquired Dana 70 this weekend for the first time, but noticed something that seems odd to me. 8 of the 10 bolts look normal, but 2 of them (far left-most two, one above the other) have a bolt sticking out with a nut, instead of just the hex head. Can't really tell in the picture in my gallery, covered in muck. I'll try to get better pics soon.
It kind of worries me; don't think I've seen any others like that, so I fear something might be faulty. Will try to pull the cover and gears this weekend to count. Hope I didn't get a busted 70...
