I saw a commercial advertising an additional $1000 "Auto Show" rebate on certain Ford verhicles. I went to fordvehicles.com and could not find any reference to this incentive. Does anyone know anything about this? Is it added on top of current rebates?
It, the commercial you're referring to, has been plastered all over my area too here in N. Illinois. They DO NOT mention how one goes about obtaining this added $1K "kicker" though. But the fine print down below could ONLY be read by a hawk for sure. Maybe one can receive some input at the Ford camp at the various auto shows. Or maybe one can just display their auto show ticket at their local dealership. Just my $.02 as always.
Last year, we just applied for the darned thing like any other rebate. It was a specific dollar amount, good in only certain zip codes, for a specific timeframe.
We need a VIN and a zip code to run a smartvincent on it. Anyone?
I saw the add again last night. After using my "cheaters" I believe the small print was the SAME lingo used when describing the $1K financial arm incentive. In that, one must finance via the Ford credit arm in order to receive this incentive. The words, NOT ALL BUYERS QUALIFY are there. Maybe, perhaps, who knows....
Interesting. Like others have posted about before, one would think that a company like Ford could keep their website updated with current incentive information.
Polarbear, here is an F-150 FX4 that has been sitting at the local Ford dealer for a while: 1FTPX14516NA51864
The biggest catch is that you have to have a certificate from the specific auto show to qualify. I'm sure you have to visit the show in person, sign up, get a certificate number, blah-blah-blah...
Speaking of which, the Portland Auto show runs from today until Sunday. chevy's got a $500 bonus auto show incentive, and it's contingent on the buyers zip code (PDX and surrounding areas)- no special coupons necessary. Not that anyone would want a Bowtie or anything....
