military discount ?
This is mostly for Polarbear and Mark1956 but if anyone else has used this, any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Most have heard from me several times already, so I'll be brief with the backround. I've been overseas for 15 months ordered my truck over the internet through Ford Direct.
I,m ready to take delivery of my truck and I remember some dealers telling me about a $400.00 military discount through Ford. My dealer said he can't find anything on Vincent or any where else that states that there is a military discount. If anyone knows or has used this discount, I would appreciate info on where and how to get it, ASAP as I am hoping to take delivery on saturday.

Interesting- we have a call into Ford over this exact question. The military rebate has been an on-again/off-again deal- last number was $500. I've been advising FTE members to make sure they belong to the AQHA, since the 60 day waiting period is about how long it takes to get the truck from time of order- just as insurance. I'll post back when i learn something more.

the official word is that Ford is currently in between Military Discount programs.
Expect to see this revised shortly. See if there's an auto show in your region- that might work.
