Question Oil Pressure Gauge/Sensor

I'm new to this site, but it looks so great I will be back regularly. I found it while looking ofr some answers about my '99 F-250 SD w/V-10.

The other day my Oil Pressure Gauge started bouncing all over and bottoming out (with the Idiot light coming on), then maxing out. No major noises under the hood so I suspected the Sending unit (sensor), and several people, including the Ford garage, have confirmed this.

Bought the sensor, but now need to know where it is on the engine so I can swap it out. I looked by the oil filter, but did not see it. Any help would be great.

Thanks!

If you found the oil filter you were right next to it.
Its towards the front of the engine on that same side screwed into the block.
