That looks great! My excursion has been smashed up for a little over two weeks now due to a driver that decided to hit me. Maybe in a week or so I'll have it back. Seeing the pictures above makes me really appreciate what I have to look forward to when I get it back!
HID lights? I don't see any HID lights...? Last time I checked the only way to have a true HID setup is to get a custom projector put in. I am also curious what the OEM headlight housings cost because I want to get the Blacked out F250 Harly lights. Then paint the outside chrome part of the grille to match and paint the inside of my grille black to match the headlights.
turboale, i'm the one that has the HID's. it's a direct fit for the 9007 bulb. it comes with 2 lights, 2 ballasts, a high/low beam controller, and all the wiring to fit it to the truck. it's about $600. they work awesome. and they are so bright compared to the stockers. absolutely no mods to the housings.

vinceman, i cant figure out how to get the pics from my camera to my gallery. as soon as i do, you can bet they will be on.....i also just put some chrome 22's with 305/45/22"s. and all with no lift...
Yeah, A picture of the "cutoff" would be great, ie a picture facing your garage door/empty wall. The pre-02 housings might do a better job of controlling the light but I just don't see how my 02 housings could control that much light. Anybody know a good place to get the blacked out Harly Davidson housings?
What is on the truck, I spent about $1034.54 and thats with shipping on the parts.I spent more then that though, So I can't really say if thats a deal or not because not everyone post how much they spent on their conversion. I did spent more because I have serveral extra stuff. An extra set of headlamps that I got on Ebay thats kinda damage but not noticeable but I'm planing to see if I can have them paint it Deep Wedgewood Blue, (the color of my Excursion) Kinda like the 05 Hardley Davison's black headlamps. Ford OEM billet grille, screws, clips and the headlamps plug-n-play kit. I Bought the bumper complete with brackets, foglamp bracket, and trims from a guy on ebay that sells these(and others vehicles) bumpers complete. The original owner had a aftermarket bumper installed. Although fedex kinda scuff up the trim paint, so i had a shop repainted the trim and cleared for 175.00
The rest of the stuff came from http://www.powerstrokeshop.com (great folks) and http://www.blackclouddiesel.com for the plug-n-play headlamp harness.
The conversion was done by a friend and me, He owns a black 2000 v10 4x4 Excursion (his truck is the right of the picture, in front of my old Excursion )
I spent days and night racking my brains out when I have everything trying to decide if I should go ahead and change the front end. I finally said lets do it but he wanted to do it now Which was friday 11 something pm. The work started at 12am saturday to 10 am crazy hours huh? I was expecting to do every thing in 3 hours but that didn't came out as plan. There were some unexpected snags that came up. I wish I had my digital camera with me during in process but I seem to have lost it somewhere in my house and I can only find my old digital camera that from 1998 or so, and it sucks. Oh ya alot of the great tips came from King Kustoms http://www.kingkustomstemecula.com/wst_page14.php for the instructions.
