good comment about 6.0

i figure just posting something so if anybody ever looked into buying a 6.0, they can find lots of comments about it (good and bad). couple months ago i had to make a 12 hour trip to get my household goods from storage (stupid Navy), and had about 1100 lbs loaded in the back, the truck did great, better than ever expected, i seriously didn't even feel any weight in the back at all and mpg was the same as unloaded. this is my first diesel (come from a 460) and its performance impresses the hell out of me.

Hopefully it will only get better. Mine seems to get better with age, now have little ove 25k and am seeing a slight increase in fuel milage and have never lacked for power pulling our 25 ft TT. Here's hoping yours does the same.

30 K on mine and have had one problem but was under a TSB recall for the problem. My only problem now is that I just can't seem to keep my foot out of it. My wife says I just kill the MPG. But my response is "Someone has to keep the engine cleaned out".

Best truck I have every owned! Was a gas’er prior to my 05 F-250 FX4 CC LB and I will never own another gas truck again! Every vehicle has its issues and with today’s factory warranties most get worked out. My first Ford truck was a 59-step side with original wood bed (California Truck) and my last one (there were several in between) will be Ford. I bleed blue and have the smell of diesel fuel.

Yea these new trucks are just amazing. The 6.0 psd has more power than I will ever need towing the 7500 lb horse trailer. They have the power of a sports car in a 7-8000 lb truck.

the idea hit me because i read on here about all a person would see is bad comments because thats really the only time someone writes(same with all forums). so when an interested buyer is looking through the forums for all the info they can get, he might be swayed to a gaser or, dare i say it, a chevy!

33000 miles and still love hot rodding the thing. Pull a 11500lb 32' 5th wheel and it just keeps going and going.

Great Truck. Have a stock '03 F350 CC FX4 dually, 4/28/03 build, 32,600 miles. About time something good is said and we use the forum for good, not just bad. With all the trucks sold, the percentage of good vs. bad is very high.
